Start the day with the Darryl Dunn 5K Run & Walk around the stadium, which ends inside the Rose Bowl Stadium Field in front of the main stage to continue with an energetic workout that will inspire you to stay on a healthy path!
The Run & Walk is affectionately named after the Rose Bowl’s CEO and General Manager Darryl Dunn, who is retiring in June, after 27 years at the helm of the legendary stadium. Darryl is an avid walker who is often seen around the stadium. You are invited to join in for a fun run, brisk or leisure walk!
Registration Fee: Adult $10.00 (18+), Youth (10-17) $5.00, children 10 and under free.
5k participants will receive a race packet that includes a race bib, official t-shirt, and
participation medal. Participants will have the opportunity to win cash prizes for the finishing top three in two categories: Adult 18+ and Youth 17 and Under.
Registration opens at 8:00 am by the front gates and parking is free. The Run & Walk starts at 9:30 am. promptly and ends inside the Rose Bowl Stadium field in front of the main stage.
There Metodo M Coaches, Mariana Sanchez-Williams and Alessandra Rosaldo greet you. You can join a meditation exercise which is followed by a fun high-power workout starting at 10:30 am. Join Metodo M’s contagious energy as they inspire you to stay active and healthy.
Participants are asked to wear workout or comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle and exercise mat for the best experience.
This event leads into the free Cinco de Mayo Celebration beginning at 10:00 am, also on the Rose Bowl Stadium field.
