Pasadena Heritage once again offers the in-person bi-monthly edition of the Old Pasadena Walking Tour, the organization's most popular tour. Explore Old Pasadena with an experienced docent, see the renaissance, and enjoy the architectural variety, fascinating history, virtually unchanged alleyways, and all the authentic details that keep history alive in the 21st Century. Each tour will have a slightly different route and theme so each tour will be slightly different but each lasting approximately one hour and covering a distance of about one mile.
Pasadena's original downtown, once slated for demolition, is now a shopping and dining destination attracting thousands of visitors every month. Without Pasadena Heritage, this National Register Historic District would have been leveled and all its history and architecture destroyed. Instead, today it is one of the finest examples of downtown revitalization in the country.
