Sanctuary Fitness - Pasadena is a boutique fitness studio offering group high intensity interval training (HIIT) classes in a supportive, approachable environment for all fitness levels and age groups. It's a place where anyone and everyone can come together to unplug from the daily grind. Personal trainers challenge you physically but also coach and connect to fill you spiritually. Classes are based on three underlying “themes,” a system that ensures you never plateau or get bored. Each day also builds on the previous day so you are constantly challenging your muscles to make them stronger, leaner, and faster.
The approach at Sanctuary Fitness is centered on two philosophies:
- Balance: a healthy life is a balanced life. To achieve physical balance, Sanctuary Fitness purposefully offers both cardio and strength training. The body needs both to be fully functional. But mental balance is also important, and coaches believe that you have to mix in some fun with the work!
- Kaizen: This Japanese philosophy centers around the ideas of “change for the better” and “continuous improvement”. No matter how small the change or the improvement, they all add up over time. Sanctuary Fitness encourages everyone to adopt the mindset that there is always something in our lives that we can try to change for the better and push to continuously improve. This philosophy is one that coaches use in classes to transform your body, and over time, transform your mind.
