Crown City Loan & Jewelry

One of Old Pasadena’s truly old stores, Crown City Loan & Jewelry opened in 1953 in a building that dates even older: The Kinney-Kendall Building was built in 1899 and is the last standing commercial structure built by renowned architects Charles and Henry Greene. Known locally as “the pawn shop,” the store carries jewelry, coins, electronics, iPhones and iPads, and vintage guitars, among many other items.
