    PRIDE Movie in the Park

    6:00pm–10:00pm

The City of Pasadena is offering a free movie screening in Central Park in honor of PRIDE month.  Come out to the park, and enjoy a free screening of To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995) PG-13 – 108 min. Three New York drag queens travel cross-country on their way to Hollywood, but a broken-down car strands them in a narrow-minded Midwestern town, where they share makeup tips with the ladies and show the hostile men how to treat women right. The film's versatile cast includes Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo, Stockard Channing, and Blythe Danner.

This screening in Central Park is situated next to the rose garden and under Castle Green, offering a great location for a picnic in the park prior to the film.  Enjoy fun surprises, music by our favorite DJ Glenn Red, and sweet treats (while supplies last). Bring your own chairs and blankets to Central Park, but be considerate of others and try not to block anyone's view.

6:00 pm Music + Special Activities; Film begins at dusk (approx. 8:15 pm).

Wear your "Say Something Hat" to be judged and have a chance to win our prize package generously provided by Old Pasadena businesses:

Note: This movie is rated PG-13. Therefore, some content may be inappropriate for children under 13. Viewer discretion is advised. For more information, call (626) 744-7500.

    Pasadena Walking Film Tour

    10:00am–11:45am

On Saturday, June 24, My Valley Pass is proud to present their Pasadena Walking Film Tour.  On this offshoot of the popular Pasadena (bus) Film Tour, join My Valley Pass co-founder Jared Cowan for a jaunt through Old Pasadena and the Pasadena Civic Center, and learn about a number of the popular movies and TV shows that have used this visually dynamic and historic area as a filming location. You'll even visit a few locations where a tour bus can't go, including - by way of the gracious support of Visit Pasadena - the grand interior of the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Space is limited, so get your tickets today!
