Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the Rose Bowl on Sunday, May 1! This will be a fun and interactive non-alcoholic family event to reconnect the community with interactive activities, live entertainment, food, and much more, including a healthy start (see the Darryl Dunn 5k Run & Walk event that begins at 8:30 am).
The Rose Bowl Stadium, in partnership with the City of Pasadena, Consulado de Mexico, and support from the Pasadena Latino Employee Association (PLEA) is offering this FREE event. Families will be able to enjoy traditional music featuring live performances from Gustavo Rivera and Sonora Dinamita, Folklorico dancers, explore an active children’s play area, stroll the arts and culture area featuring local artists, and learn about area resources and services. The free family-friendly event will be an opportunity for the community to come together to enjoy and appreciate Pasadena’s rich Latino culture and traditions.
