Something new is buzzing at One Colorado! In honor of Earth Month and as part of its ongoing sustainability initiatives, ShopCore Properties, the real estate company that leases and manages One Colorado as part of its nationwide portfolio, will be installing beehives at 30 of their properties throughout 12 states. ShopCore Properties will install the beehives during 2022 and will harvest the honey in the fall. The honey will then be packaged and offered to the community as a gift. Each beehive will have approximately 50,000 bees and will be cared for by local beekeepers.

In addition, One Colorado has a unique mix of shops and restaurants, many of which sell ecofriendly products and services including Sushi Roku, Anthropologie, The Soap Kitchen, Kreation, Salt & Straw, and Sage Vegan Bistro. One Colorado aims to be an industry leader when it comes to its sustainability initiatives!

Stay tuned for more details as the installation date is confirmed and the bees arrive at their new home.
