Armory 2021 Virtual Benefit
Saturday, May 22, 6:00 to 7:00pm
The Armory's 2021 Virtual Benefit will be hosted by KPCC's John Horn, who will moderate a not-to-be-missed salon-style conversation with artists William Camargo, Lauren Halsey, Devon Tsuno, and Kristina Wong. This year, they've introduced an inclusive "pay what you can" pricing system, with tickets starting at $25. Patron opportunities are also available, with premium perks that include gourmet snack boxes and cocktails from Gale's Restaurant delivered to your door. Tickets are on sale now through the TICKETS link.
Online Art Auction
Friday, May 14 through Sunday, May 23
Alongside this year's virtual benefit is an online art auction with works by Kim Abeles, Tanya Aguiñiga, John Baldessari, Tiffany Chung, Todd Gray, Matt Lipps, Shizu Saldamando, and many more. Online bidding starts May 14. Though you don't need to purchase a benefit ticket to bid on art, we ask you to please consider doing both. Ticket purchasers are automatically signed up as bidders. If you can't attend the virtual benefit but would like to participate in the auction, register here as a bidder. All proceeds from the virtual benefit and online art auction will support the Armory.
Nonprofit and community-based, Armory Center for the Arts is a leader for contemporary art exhibitions and community arts education. The Armory's mission is to build upon the power of art to transform lives and communities through creating, teaching, and presenting the arts.
