sp[a]ce gallery at Ayzenberg is thrilled to announce its seventh exhibition, ROBOT REMIX. Curated by Mark Todd and Dov Kelemer / DKE Toys, the exhibition offers a diverse mix of mediums, bringing together traditional painting and drawing, interactive and kinetic art, and VR.
“This eclectic exhibition is expansive, showcasing over seventy artists, each exploring the wide spectrum of what a robot represents. From a fun and playful visually pop approach to more analytic and somber notions, the artists’ work ranges from painting, sculpture, and ‘bootleg’ toys, to XR, interactive and kinetic art,” says Todd. “Some conjure a nostalgic connection to these objects, bringing us back to the toys that primed our imaginations. Others show us what the future may hold.”
