Old Pasadena Summer Cinema returns for another year as a month-long, FREE movie series featuring screenings in unique urban settings. Running from July 5 – July 27, this annual summer film program features a variety of audience-pleasing movie titles and genres in two outdoor locales in the historic district of Old Pasadena: Central Park and One Colorado. All screenings are free and open to the public.

Enjoy a free screening of Zootopia (2016) PG – 108 min. Judy Hopps, a rabbit with a passion for social justice and law enforcement, moves from the countryside to urban Zootopia, where she becomes the first rabbit to join the police force.  Although assigned to parking duty, Judy longs to do more and soon becomes steadfast in her goal to crack a conspiracy case. The film includes voicework by Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, Jenny Slate, and Shakira.

This screening in Central Park provides the chance to picnic in the park prior to the film and includes DJ music, activities for the kids, and free ice cream from Paradis (while supplies last). Bring your own chairs and blankets to Central Park.

6:30pm Music + Special Activities; Film begins at 8:30pm.
