Castle Green celebrates its 120th anniversary year by hosting a special spring tour. See the finished restoration of the iconic bridge's interior. Explore this grand Victorian building, with its exotic Moorish and Turkish Rooms designed as a place for ladies to write letters during their vacations to lovely Pasadena. Enjoy the splendor of the Grand Salon, where you can take in the view of the Grand staircase and lush front grounds. Sip lemonade on the veranda and visit many private apartments, each unique in decor.

Hidden treasures from the Castle's archives will be on display for the first time. These artifacts were used to restore this historic building, including the castings of the dragon corbels and the decorative plaster-work on the bridge exterior, as well as the original porch lanterns.

Special Appearance by Jack's Fat Cats all afternoon!

Built in 1898, the Castle was designed by architect Frederick I. Roehrig with influence of Moorish, Spanish, and Victorian elements and has turn of the century glamour and charm.  Today, the Castle has become one of the most cherished historic buildings in Pasadena and remains a majestic centerpiece of the city.
