SHOP SMALL - SUPPORT LOCAL
This year Old Pasadena is offering you more opportunities to support our small business community. Beginning on October 15, we are hosting a WEEKLY giveaway on our Instagram account of (2) $50 gift cards to two randomly selected winners from the following small shops:
Leading up to Small Business Saturday, we will be holding a DAILY giveaway of (4) $25 gift cards to the same group of small retailers to aid in your holiday shopping!
HOLIDAYS ON HOLLY
The annual Holidays on Holly Open House returns on Thursday, November 20. Every year the week before Thanksgiving, the Shops on Holly independents businesses stay open until 8 PM and offering discounts, refreshments, and more seasonal fun, to get you in the Holiday spirit!
OPEN REWARDS
Starting on October 1, 2025, and running through March 31, 2026, the City of Pasadena launched a digital rewards program pilot offering 5% cash back on purchases made at participating local businesses. Download the Open Rewards app, sign up, and earn 5% cash back when you shop and dine at small businesses in Pasadena. This program is designed to reward consumers and support Pasadena’s small business community, making it easier than ever to shop and save.

SHOP LOCAL PASADENA
The City of Pasadena is continuing its Shop Local Pasadena campaign to put a spotlight on the city’s independent businesses and encourage shopping and dining local this holiday season. Small Business Saturday, November 29, will feature city-wide Welcome Stations, including 4 in Old Pasadena, where you can pick up a free canvas tote bag while supplies last! Visit Pasadena is also highlighting its Pasadena Crafted campaign and canvas totes.
The Pasadena Department of Transportation is offering shoppers free rides on Pasadena Transit on November 28 and 29! For more information including bus schedules, maps, and real-time bus arrival information call (626) 744-4055 or visit PasadenaTransit.net.
