OPEN REWARDS
Starting on October 1, 2025, and running through March 31, 2026, the City of Pasadena launched a digital rewards program pilot offering 5% cash back on purchases made at participating local businesses. Download the Open Rewards app, sign up, and earn 5% cash back when you shop and dine at small businesses in Pasadena. This program is designed to reward consumers and support Pasadena’s small business community, making it easier than ever to shop and save.

SHOP LOCAL PASADENA - WELCOME STATIONS
Pasadena is home to over 1,600 retail businesses and over 700 restaurants across many unique commercial districts. Shopping locally is a chance to find special treasures, meet the friendly faces behind the city’s unique shops, and help the Pasadena business community thrive.
With the Shop Local Pasadena campaign, The City of Pasadena and Visit Pasadena encourage residents and visitors to shop locally this holiday season. On November 29, Small Business Saturday, 24 local businesses, including 4 in Old Pasadena, will welcome customers into their locations. Shoppers will receive free canvas tote bags as a special gift for shopping local (first come, first served, limited supply).
