Buy Independent / Buy Local

In honor of National Independents Week July 1-7, 2010,, Old Pasadena Management decided to celebrate our independents and to remind everyone how important "buying local" is to our community. We launched an advertising campaign to highlight our wonderful and unique businesses. Old Pasadena’s local independent businesses embody our community values through their spirit of entrepreneurism, individuality, uniqueness, and character; giving back to community with time, talent, goods and services; and fulfilling our community’s needs.

"Old Pasadena Management District (OPMD) celebrates our great independent businesses. These unique entrepreneurs exemplify the uniqueness of Old Pasadena; they are at the very heart of what makes us so special", said Steve Mulheim, President & CEO of OPMD. "Every day I see their passion to procure or produce that which you will find nowhere else. It is imperative that the local community know and support these businesses that help define who we are and contribute so significantly to Pasadena’s sense of place."
