| Description : | Il Fornaio began as a baking school outside of Milan in 1972, and in 1981, Il Fornaio came to the United States and has since opened some of the most successful restaurants in America, including Il Fornaio in Pasadena. We are nestled among the bookstores, theaters, and retail shops of One Colorado Plaza in Old Pasadena. From Colorado Boulevard, a stone path takes you by neighboring shops to the arched restaurant entrance. From Union Street you'll pass through a brick alley before reaching the door to the Panetteria (bakery). From either direction, the smell of fresh hearth-baked breads leads the way to an unforgettable Italian experience. Our breads accompany every meal, compliments of our Chef.
