    • Pasadena’s General Plan
Pasadena’s General Plan update is moving forward! This spring the community will be invited to another series of timely workshops to select preferred alternatives to be included in the document. Stay informed by calling (626) 744-6807 or visiting
      www.cityofpasadena.net/generalplan.

    • Homelessness

Please make your charitable donations most effective by directing your support to the non-profit organizations that provide life-changing services to the homeless. Giving directly to individuals on the street does not get them the medical, nutritional, and housing support they so desperately need. It will most likely support drug and alcohol abuse.

Support of Union Station Foundation will provide food, clothing, medical attention, housing, education, work-skills training, and employment services to homeless individuals and families. Read more about Union Station Homeless Services here.

Old Pasadena restauranteurs once again donated a percentage of their profits from the second edition of Old Pasadena Restaurant Week 2010 to Union Station in support of these efforts.

      Past Meetings

    • Final Outreach Summary Report approved
Staff and the General Plan Update Advisory Committee (GPUAC) carefully organized all the common themes contained in the outreach information collected in 2009 and created an Outreach Summary Report. The report summarizes all the feedback received at stakeholder interviews, MoveAbout tour booklets, community organization workshops, community-wide meetings, district meetings and the open house – literally thousands of comments! The report is organized into key themes that can be addressed in the General Plan Update, as well as a technical appendix that includes full documentation of all comments heard from the community Comments related to density, design and traffic presented some of the more significant tensions that will need to be addressed as the update moves forward. The final report was approved by the City Council on May 17, 2010.
